Bella Freud links with Neal’s Yard Remedies again to support bees

Neal’s Yard Remedies is continuing its long-standing commitment to support bees and other pollinators in decline.

And this month, the London beauty specialist is collaborating once more with British designer Bella Freud to relaunch a limited-edition ‘Save the Bees’ T-shirt in aid of bee conservation – this time with sunshine yellow as the colour of choice.

And the collaboration is a strong one, with the bee cause close to the designer’s heart ("Saving the bees is saving the world,” she said). Freud is a longstanding supporter of Neal’s Yard Remedies’ campaigning.

The new Save the Bees t-shirt is made from 100% organic cotton and cut for a relaxed fit. It features ‘Pollinate’ on the front, while the back reads ‘Save the Bees’ with an illustration of a bee – in signature Bella Freud style.

All profits raised from the sale will be donated to bee conservation and nature-friendly farming initiatives.

“Standing together to make change happen is vital in the fight to protect our pollinators. So we’re thrilled to reignite our collaboration with fellow nature activist Bella Freud with the relaunch,” says Anabel Kindersley, CEO, Neal’s Yard Remedies.

Launched for World Bee Day, the £35 tees ordered on the retailer's' website will be delivered in June.

Neal’s Yard Remedies launched its Bee Lovely range in 2012 and has since donated 3% of sales from the collection to bee conservation charities, raising £350,000 so far while saving over 56 million bees, the retailer says.
