Blue Earth Summit London edition to feature major fashion speakers

Simon Hill-Norton, co-founder of Sweaty Betty, will be one of the high-profile keynote speakers from the world of sustainable fashion and beauty at the Blue Earth Summit at Woolwich Works, London, on 16-18 October.

Europe's ‘impact-led event’ with a mission-led manifesto: ‘Inspire. Connect. Act.’, will also feature Pangaia executive Eva Cruse, John Lewis director of ethics and sustainability, Maria Rompani, Frieda Gormley, founder of luxury lifestyle brand House of Hackney and retail expert and entrepreneur Deborah Meaden from Dragon's Den.
In all, 300 speakers will appear across 10 stages for the three-day event that will include talks, workshops and clinics for an expected gathering of 5,000 innovators, start-ups, business leaders celebrities, politicians, adventurers and campaigners “to connect together, act fast and create planet positive change… in order to make the world a better place to be”.
Its organisers added: “We use the power of adventure and the outdoors to inspire environmentally conscious business practices and transform the way we live and work. The experts aren't just on a stage -- they're all around us.”
It added that the summit is a way to “connect with the most inspiring, experienced and provocative thought-leaders and trailblazers from all walks of life to share knowledge and drive action.This transformative approach is good for business and it's essential for our planet”.
